System
Architecture
Server
System Architecture includes:
• Open Architecture: C3
Server and Aculab hardware with optional
development toolkit allows integration
with existing or custom applications.
• Windows 2000/2003 and Windows
2000/XP or Thin Client Workstations
• Integrates with most PBXs
• Integrates with Asterisk
• Scalable software architecture
The
C3
components are designed for the Windows
2000/2003 servers to interface with
and manage the services of C3.
C3
is an open architecture system allowing
integration with any desktop application
via its customizable interface, and
can be used in conjunction with most
PBXs.
C3
supports a full client server implementation.
The C3
client and server components run in
a Windows 2000/2003 environment. C3
is designed around a distributed computing
philosophy that consists of a core
message distribution routing system
which integrates a number of specialized
support, server and application modules.
These modules either support or provide
functionality for the various C3
Server applications.
System
overhead is handled by C3
server components or services –
Database Communications Server, Campaign
Server, Agent Server, Business Intelligence
Server, Call Control, Telephony Servers,
Administrative Console, and Agent
Console all connected to one another
through flexible IP-based protocols.
This connection strategy coupled with
the open architecture built into the
C3
Server Components results in system
scalability and the software's
unique ability to support feature
enhancements, including customized
features. In addition, the Distributed
System Architecture and TCP/IP connectivity
allow supervisor, agent, and administrator
applications to be run anywhere on
the network whether a LAN, WAN or
over the Internet. Each server can
be mounted on separate boxes or combined
depending on desired load distribution.
C3
is built on Microsoft's powerful
SQL Server Platform allowing easy
access to your data while providing
reliability, stability and security.
In addition C3's
component design and architecture
allows for simple integration with
other databases including legacy database
systems.
